I am working on a fun giveaway...so, check back soon!  Thank you for your support...I am a much better teacher because of all of you.  I sat with a teacher from another school sharing ideas that I have picked up from all the fabulous blogs and Pinterest boards I follow...I felt like I was boasting about friends.  What a special group of people all of you are!

I have many things that I am pondering, and I want to get opinions from the experts...all of you! So, question of today...fabric on bulletin boards or fadeless paper? Please weigh in...

I have fabric for all of my boards. It was a tip that I got from my lead teacher when I was student teaching. A tip I got from the blogosphere was to use the twin sheets from Wal-Mart - under $5 - an amazing deal!

If you would like help with your giveaway I would love to donate!

I second the fabric idea. I also have it for my boards. It lasts a long time and you can wash it. You can use the same fabric and change it up by just switching out borders. Good luck with whatever you decide!

I am the same way bragging about blogs and ideas that I have read about this summer! The only bad thing about fabric is dust.

I, too, talk about all the great ideas I find as if I got them from friends :) I have never tried fabric...might have to give that a try this year! I like the cheap sheet idea...the thrift stores might be a good place to check for cheap sheets too.

My plan for this year is to use fabric, but I am having troubling finding affordable grey fabric...so we'll see! :)

Congrats on 100 followers. It is such a fun feeling to know that people read and listen to you! If you need help with your giveaway, I would love to help you celebrate. :)

Congratulations! I have used fabric on my boards for several years. It holds up much better and I like being able to wash it at the end of the year.

I haven't used fabrics, but my best friend just gave me an even better tip: tablecloths. You can get the cheap ones from dollar tree, and they won't fade!

Congrats on 100 followers, and let me know if you need help!

I'm definitely a fan of fabric. I hate all the holes in the paper.

I also use fabric because it doesn't show the holes from the pushpins. The colors and patterns tend to be brighter too. But I do like the idea of tablecloths too!

I start off with fadeless paper that goes with my room color theme. Then for certain units I put up fabric right over the top and add a border. I have fabric for Explorers-nautical, Native American and bandana for Gold Rush. It's easy to put up and take down and my fadeless paper still looks good when the unit board gets taken down. I get the fabric at Walmart.
Congrats on 100! LeAnn
